Beautiful Things: Empty

Om Malik recently wrote an excellent essay urging readers to rethink how we support music. His piece introduced me to Nils Frahm. Nils is a Berlin-based musician who beautifully merges classical and electronic piano in a way that was entirely new to me.

His album Empty is stirring from start to finish. I’ve had it on repeat each day as I do thinking work. In fact, it’s playing as I write this. I highly recommend enjoying it with your eyes closed and lounging in your favorite chair.
